Cheshire County Democrats Book Club

At our November meeting we decided to take a break in December and reconvene in January after the Holidays.

For January, we will be reading The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, by Barack Obama. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10th, at 6:30 PM, at 2 Eagle Court.

At 7:00pm this Thursday December 7th The KEENE DEMOCRATS will have a rare opportunity to listen to one of the nation's most unique politicians. Former Sen. Mike Gravel (D- Alaska ...1969-1981) is running for president and trying to advance the idea of participatory democracy through direct voting on national issues. NH DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO HOST 2006 ELECTION CELEBRATION WITH SPECIAL GUEST

The New Hampshire Democratic Party will host a 2006 Election Celebration in Manchester on Sunday, December 10, 2006 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Center of New Hampshire Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel, which is located at 700 Elm Street in Manchester, NH.
