Cheshire Democrats Book Club

Our next book is The Myth of Progress: Toward a Sustainable Future by Tom Wessels. Tom Wessels is a professor of ecology at Antioch New England. His book contends that it is a myth that progress depends on a growing economy. It's a great follow-up to Three Billion New Capitalists that argues just the opposite. The Myth of Progress is short, only 117 pages. It's available at the Toadstool and on Amazon, and perhaps at your local library.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, November 8th (the day after election day) at 6:30 PM at 2 Eagle Court.

Hope to see you there.
